Ashfaq Khan is part of the Special Programs team to ensure seamless and timely move-ins for program participants through collaboration with the NYC Department of Social Services (DSS), housing providers, and vendors to identify and coordinate repairs from start to completion.

Before joining Anthos|Home, Ashfaq served as a Bilingual Program Associate at Center for New York City Neighborhoods, where she provided case management support for various programs such as, Home Fix and Bronx and Brooklyn Energy Hub which aims to increase access to affordable home repair loans and energy efficiency upgrades among low-to-middle income homeowners in New York City and State. Ashfaq briefly served as a Policy Analyst at Center for American Progress where she was responsible of tracking federal housing policy developments and conducted research to advocate for equitable housing outcomes for all. Additionally, Ashfaq served as a Case Manager and Outreach Coordinator at Catholic Charities, Homebase in the Bronx where she provided case management support to families and individuals to access public benefits, secure affordable housing, prevent shelter entry/re-entry, and obtain housing vouchers.

Ashfaq holds a MSc from New York University in International Development and Humanitarian Assistance and a Bachelors of Arts from City College – CUNY in International Relations and Psychology.
