Brendan Gioello, LMSW is the SHARE Finance and Administration Director at Anthos|Home. He oversees financial operations, budget oversight, and compliance to sustain the program’s long-term impact on housing stability and social services efficiency. With a finance and social work background, Brendan bridges the gap between fiscal responsibility and community impact, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to support individuals and families in achieving lasting housing success.

With over 15 years of experience in finance, non-profits, and social impact work, Brendan previously served as Director of Financial Planning & Analysis at EmblemHealth, where he oversaw multi-million-dollar budgets, reduced low-impact spending, and implemented strategies to enhance financial sustainability. He also served as Board Secretary for the South Orange Community Police Collaborative, where he piloted integrating social workers into the police department for crisis intervention and, while engaged with Adult Family Health Services, facilitated a high-impact roundtable discussion between law enforcement and mental health clients, fostering a critical dialogue that reshaped local crisis response strategies.

Brendan’s career has spanned finance and social service advocacy. He has worked to expand access to care, improve social service efficiencies, and implement financial strategies that directly impact underserved communities. His ability to blend fiscal strategy with social impact has positioned him as a leader in aligning financial sustainability with community well-being.

Brendan holds a B.S. in Finance and Economics from New York University and an M.S. in Social Work from Columbia University. He lives in South Orange, NJ, with his daughter and their two dogs, Flower and Cooper.
