Carmen Soto

Vice President of Tenant Coordination

Carmen Soto oversees the Tenant Coordination team at Anthos|Home, working directly with government and nonprofit partners and managing all aspects of program activities designed to assist individuals and families through the housing process and after move-in.

Carmen has worked in nonprofit supportive housing organizations for more than a quarter century. She previously held roles of increasing responsibility at Lantern Community Services, where she oversaw two supportive housing sites. She also worked with formerly homeless families and youth, helping them maintain self-sufficiency. Earlier in her career, Carmen spent time at the Center for Urban Community Services, as a member of a team that established three supportive housing sites, provided discharge planning on Rikers Island and helped populations transitioning from state hospitals to independent living.

Carmen earned a B.A. from the City College of New York and a masters degree from the Hunter College School of Social Work.
