Cathy Batista, LCSW leads all aspects of Anthos|Home’s program and operations, working closely with the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer to ensure organizational success and the advancement of our mission.

Cathy has spent two decades working at nonprofits that serve vulnerable populations throughout New York City. Before joining Anthos|Home, she was Senior Vice President of Residential and Supportive Services at Covenant House New York, where she expanded the continuum of care and housing opportunities for homeless youth by opening residential and shelter sites and instituting permanent housing programs. As Vice President of Programs at Lantern Community Services, she was responsible for the administrative and clinical oversight of supportive housing sites. Before that, she was a Director at the Department of Education, providing clinical oversight at a transfer school, and within the foster care system and at several agencies, managing group homes, crisis assessment programs and aftercare services.

Cathy holds a B.A. from Le Moyne College and an M.S.W. from Fordham University. In 2016, she completed a post-graduate executive leadership program at Hunter College’s Silberman School of Social Work.
