Clare Plunkett Acharya, LCSW is the Director of Special Programs at Anthos|Home, where she plays a pivotal role in ensuring the operational success of a portfolio of high-priority initiatives and programs, including Rapid Rehousing and Moving On. In this leadership role, she oversees the day-to-day administration, operations, staff management, and reporting for these programs, ensuring they meet their objectives and deliver significant impact. Beyond the scope of existing programs, Clare is actively involved in outreach and identifying new opportunities, aiming to expand the reach and influence of Anthos|Home’s innovative housing initiatives.

Before joining Anthos|Home, Clare spent over six years at Sanctuary for Families, where she oversaw residential programming and Rapid Rehousing. Before Sanctuary, Clare worked in the child welfare field, supporting families at the Association to Benefit Children.

Clare holds a Master’s degree in social work from Hunter College and a Bachelor’s degree from Barnard College. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband and her son.
