Coco Wheeler, LMSW oversees Anthos|Home’s participation in two Social Care Networks through New York State’s 1115 Demonstration Waiver, ensuring New Yorkers with health-related social needs are able to access and secure stable housing. 

Prior to joining Anthos|Home, Coco served as the Director of International Programs at True Colors United, advancing the issue of LGBTIQ youth homelessness through capacity building, research, youth action, and training. With over a decade of experience in the housing justice field, Coco previously held roles in a direct service capacity as an advocate for both young men incarcerated in juvenile detention and for parents facing the removal of their children to the foster care system. 

Coco holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and Social Work from UMass Amherst, and a Master of Social Work from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College.
