Gilberto Alvarado works directly with program participants after move-in to provide ongoing support and stability, ensuring a successful tenancy. 

Gilberto has an extensive background in case management and community organizing. He helped conduct community outreach and tenant organizing while at the office of New York City Council Member Diana Ayala. As a case manager at the LGBT Community Center, he specializded assisting LGBTQ New Yorkers through housing and public benefits navigation.

Gilberto holds both an Associates Degree and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from CUNY Bronx Community College and CUNY Lehman College respectively.
