Maria Ruiz Diaz works directly with program participants after move-in to provide ongoing support and stability, ensuring a successful tenancy.

Prior to Anthos Homes, Maria worked as a case manager assisting older adults navigating NYC benefits and entitlements and building therapeutic relationships to support older adults in maintaining independent living. Maria’s volunteer work has centered on equitable economic justice for all immigrants in NYC. Maria is fueled by advocating for fair, permanent and affordable housing for all unhoused New Yorkers particularly through the lens of racial justice.

Maria holds a B.A in Public Affairs from CUNY Baruch College.
