Marie Alcis is the main point of contact for tenants and is responsible for working with them for a year after move-in to ensure housing stability over time.

Marie is a dedicated professional with a demonstrated trauma-informed approach to service, which she learned while working as an Education Specialist supporting high school students in the foster care system for two years. Her role involved ensuring young people attend school and have the necessary support and resources for success, such as tutoring, individualized educational plans (IEPs), 504 Plans, or other special accommodations.

Marie holds B.A from Plattsburgh University and is currently working to earn a Master’s in Social Work from Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College.
