Miguel Ortiz works directly with program participants to help them navigate each step of the housing process, from referral to move-in. Once tenants are housed, he provides ongoing support that ensures their long-term stability.  

A graduate of the foster care system, Miguel previously served as a case manager at a Brooklyn nonprofit, where he supported youth with resources for employment, education and housing. In his free time, he mentors youth in communities around New York. 

Miguel earned an associate degree in criminal justice from LaGuardia Community College.
