Richard McColl is a seasoned global executive with over 30 years of experience spearheading HR, HR technology, digital transformation, and organizational strategy. As Vice President of People Operations (POPs) Engineering at Google, he leads the engineering and product management organizations responsible for scaling the technology and internal products that power Google’s global workforce.

Throughout his career, Richard has driven large-scale digital transformations at some of the world’s most prominent companies. His previous leadership roles include serving as Vice President of People Product & Technology at Walmart, Chief HR Operations Officer at Kraft Heinz, and spending nearly two decades leading global initiatives at IBM. He specializes in building scalable enterprise systems and leveraging cutting-edge technology to solve complex, human-centric organizational challenges.

Richard holds a Master’s degree in Business and Technology from the University of New South Wales.
