Robert (Bob) Kandel brings more than 50 years of real estate law and public service to the Anthos|Home board. A seasoned attorney with expertise spanning transactions, development, zoning, real property taxation, and litigation, Bob is currently Of Counsel at Goldberg Weprin Finkel Goldstein LLP and a Partner at Hamlin Ventures LLC.

Bob’s career has moved fluidly between the private sector and public life. In New York City government, he served as Commissioner of Economic Development and as the Mayor’s Representative on the Board of Estimate; at the state level, he served as Deputy Counsel to the NYS Financial Control Board. Earlier in his career, he held senior positions at major law firms including Kaye Scholer LLP.

A committed civic leader, Bob served on the board of Together for Youth (formerly Berkshire Farm Center and Services for Youth) for 42 years, including 18 years as Chairman of the Board. He holds a J.D. from Columbia Law School and a B.A. in History from Williams College.
