Alexandra is a Housing Retention Associate dedicated to housing justice and poverty advocacy. 

After graduating during the pandemic, Alexandra returned to NYC to promote vaccine access in marginalized communities. Their work in homelessness prevention in the South Bronx sparked a deep passion for housing justice. For years, they’ve worked in both nonprofit and government roles, helping communities navigate housing insecurity, drug misuse, and systemic barriers.

Outside of work, Alexandra enjoys creating art, mixing music for friends, and exploring NYC. A devoted cat lover, they share their home with two bonded cats they found while working in the South Bronx.

Alexandra holds a public health degree from the University at Buffalo, they studied the impact of poverty on mental and physical health, focusing on incarcerated individuals.
